Does anyone know if the film is returned cut in strips of six for scanning, or sleeved and cut in single slide inserts? Just curious as I prefer to sleeve & cut the roll myself.
I've been using the Fuji mailers for several years because the price is reasonable and turnaround is usually a couple of days. The slides are returned in cardboard mounts. There is no option with the mailers for uncut film.
Around here, there is. I assume you're talking about the envelopes that go the lab in Gera, Germany. I have a few lying around I think. If you shoot 6x6, they give you strips of three images. But then again, there's two types of mailers here, one for framed slides and one for strips. The framed ones are only available in 35mm.
