So I read on Megapearls that Fuji is dropping Neopan (or as they call it in Japan "Presto" 100ft bulk from their line. This is very concerning to me as its all Ive used for fifteen years.
Can anyone confirm of deny that this is actually going to happen?

It is bad news. I'm a user of the Super Presto and in the New Year I'm going to order a bunch of rolls. I would advise you to do the same. No more manufacturing after March 2007.

Patrick we are talking about bulk, not cassette film...

Yeah ive been buying up tins of neopan400 as much as I can, but at the rate I shoot, that might last me a year.
Buying it "ready rolled" is well... over double the price, and I will probably end up just going to another brand of film entirely just so I can stay in that super economic range which bulk loading affords me.

Is Fuji ending production of *all* consumer bulk films or just Neopan?

As far as I can remember the announcement was about Neopan B&W bulk film only. To repeat what was said much earlier in the thread by ManGo, Neopan will however still be available in cassette rolls.
