Huh? You've been the one quoting "end of the month". March 31 is going to come and go without any cameras.
Two days ago:
So far so good on my order from Henry's. I ordered Monday afternoon, it shipped Tuesday morning, and right is somewhere between Jamaica (Queens) and Texas. I hope (fingers crossed) to get it Friday.
End of the month was the ship from Fuji date. I suppose some dealers close to the Fuji warehouse *might* be able to get them out for this weekend. But the buyer would need an overnight delivery in any case...unless the customer is local to the store, so they can walk in and pick it up. So in that case yes, end of month.

Vistek notified me on the 23rd but I couldn't get into TO over the w/e. They shipped it Monday and I had it Tues late afternoon. I'd only ordered it a week before it arrived. :0)

You're right up there with us lowly dealers. Fuji hasn't said anything solid about this camera since day one, so it was anyone's guess as to when it would happen.
The good news is that it is happening finally this week!

I believe they should, if they come around the same time as ours. That's gonna be a glorious moment strolling in there to pick that camera up. I can't wait to hand a few off to beaming customers!

As frustrating as the wait might be let's all remember the camera is only days away in any event. This wait doesn't hold a candle to the Nex7 fiasco (yes, I know about the flooding but communication was awful).

It is really nice so far. I am just starting to get a feel for it, but really cool. ISO 6400 performance is crazy good (with no noise reduction either).

Fuji indicates that release is April 4th. Dealers supposed to get either on Monday or Tuesday. Some may get it tomorrow. They are slowly shipping them out starting today. Not all dealers will get them in first shipment.

I was just trying to illustrate that there is no such thing as "lowly" customers, just individuals who seem to be more privy to information than the rest of us.
It's not like they are as tight-lipped as the CIA, they just haven't been extremely helpful in disseminating reliable info for scheduled releases and launches.
We got word from Fuji earlier this week that the cameras "should be shipping this week." But with Fuji's history with this camera and keeping on schedule with their intended dates...

I don't have a MBA and I've avoided working in a corporate environment - but it feels like Business 101 in the Apple era to set a hard release date to build interest and then meet that date.
