Fuji X10 Question

I am contemplating buying a used Fuji X10. Unfortunately many of the sellers on EBAY that are reputable used camera stores - such as KEH - can't tell me if the cameras they are selling have the new (non white orbs) sensor. Does anyone know at which point in the manufacturing of this camera did they use only the improved sensor? I presume this could be identified by the serial numbers.

Sorry I did not see this sooner and don;t even know if you still need the info.
You should be safe buying a camera that starts with a 22. Stands for 2nd quarter, 2012. Cameras made after this date to the best info. i have seen have the new sensor.

Mine is a 21 SN ans frankly I have not had any issues.

Don´t think so.

Mine is a very old one and it never had white orbs.
Fuji repairs if you should accidentally pick up one.
