Fuji X100 Black

Anyone buy one of these recently? Are these cameras shipping with the latest firmware or are the ones available been on the shelf for awhile?

Because there are sometimes tweaks in the manufacturing process that are not part of firmware updates or announced.

Mine arrived yesterday, and came with 1.13 FW.
Upgraded to 1.3 immediately 🙂

I can only presume that you've made some sort of mistake here, because my silver original x100 is MUCH nicer than the black version...😉😀

I heard the black one only does take black and white pictures, so I'm perfectly happy with my silver unit. 😉

Kidding aside, if I knew about the black one earlier.... ^^

Perhaps I should buy a silver X100 to go with my black one. Then I could tell them apart when I want to shoot black and white vs colour. Hang on, we're not talking about film Leicas? Oops, wrong thread... 😉

Mine arrived today (01 Nov 2012) with v1.13

Just received mine with Firmware 1.13. It was therfore probably built in February or March 2012. I hope it has the new lens because I have had the SAB with my previous silver X100 (coming from the first batch in 2011).
