I just got back my first 20x30in enlargement from the X100. I had it printed on matte paper, and it looks spectacular...I'm not sure I could've gotten as good a result if I had a 35mm film frame enlarged to 20x30 (wet print), and I'm convinced a scan from 35mm wouldn't have been as good (how do you like "good" for an objective term
)
I did the post work/b&w conversion in SilverEfex Pro 2 using the HP5 preset as a start. Even the grain looks like dye clouds. I'm really amazed.

Yeah the x100 is superb, and silver effex is great software. Looks exactly like a silver b&w photo to me.
