I am currently debating if I want to buy an adapter (probably Novoflex) to put my Minolta lens on the xpro-1 and play around with it. Does anyone have experience with this? If so, is it recommended? It is my favorite lens that I own 🙂

Great lens, especially as you would be using the centre of the lens in that combo. I found that lens to be sharper in the centre than my v4 Summicron.

The 60mm eqv focal length is a bit weird, though...

I use that lens a lot on my Sony, with a cheap Fotodiox adapter. Its a great, sharp lens and balances well since its so tiny (a nice feature since there's already the additional length and weight of the adapter).

I don't use that lens, but I often mount the 25 Skopar on the X-Pro1 using a Fotodiox adapter. I love the combo for zone focusing with the focus click stops and optical VF.

The thing with the 40 is you'll have to use the EVF, and the X-Pro1 manual focus assist isn't particularly good. I recommend buying the adapter from a store with a good return policy, just in case. Or, trying it with a cheaper adapter.

Also, you might want to look into Fuji's M adapter. I recall there are some coupling benefit, but not sure about that. I think it's around the same price.

FWIW I would recommend doing it. Of course, I own an X-Pro1 and have never owned any Fuji glass so I might be biased on using adapted lenses.
