Does anyone know if the Auto Up works on the Fujica 690 150mm lens, as well as the 100mm?
Does anyone have experience with the metal external rangefinder accessory? I was wondering if it was made for the 670 or 690 camera....or both?

I've been fortunate enough to have located a 50/5.6...in fact...all the lenses + accessories.Awaiting shipment of the Auto Up and Sportsfinder.

Having received the Auto Up, I can now answer the first question---
The Auto Up also works on the Fujinon 150 lens, cutting the minimum focus distance in half--from 6'8" to 3'4".
Now to study portrait results for 1'7.8" thru the 100/3.5 vs 3'4" thru the 150/5.6

That's good to know. It kind of makes sense since the RF supports that focal length. The 150mm w/ hood is a beast though. Curious how the whole rig handles with the auto-up.
And after rereading your OP, I decided to check my aux finders. In case you're still curious...both my 50 and 65 finders support 6x7 and 6x9.

The Fujica literature states that the Auto Up is for studio work, so you may not need the hood on the 150. I'll put that combo together and report back.
Regarding the aux finders, I was referring to the "wire" Sportsfinder that replaces the aux eyepieces for fast framing. It fits into the same fixture on top of the camera. The back and front sections fold up into position.
The front has squares within squares representing 65, 100, and 180mm.
The back has a vertical sliding scale that corrects for parallax, depending on distance. It has markings for 1,2,and 5 meters + infinity(and 4,6,and 15 feet + infinity).
Since the parallax correction is mostly up and down as you change lenses, I'm hoping to be able to use the 65mm square on the Sportsfinder for framing the 100mm + Auto Up.
I hadn't thought about using an aux eyepiece for framing with the Auto Up. I'll check that out.

Following up on my own earlier questions......since there is a slight parallax shift when using the Auto Up close up lens on the 100mm, I am having success using the detachable, external, folding metal, rangefinder for compensation aiming..
With the sliding scale set to 1 meter, I'm using the outside of the bottom guide(bar) for the 100mm lens(instead of inside of the bottom guide)......for horizontally oriented photos, at the closest focus.......0.58 meters.
The same "outside of the guide" becomes the outside, left edge when the camera is used for vertically oriented photos.
Since the viewfinder doesn't show exactly 100% of the area actually captured on film, no method is "exact", but this is better than making no compensation.
I hope that makes sense.
