It would help sell GFX to the sort of photographer who chooses X-Pro over X-T, without really incurring huge development costs.
I don't disagree. It wouldn’t surprise me if Fuji does what they did with their APS-C line. They’ll have an X Pro-2 kind of camera, they’ll have an XT-2 kind of camera and they’ll have an X100 kind of camera in MF. Each with slightly different specs to kind of justify the different models. The XT-2 model will be the slightly more expensive/techy model, the X Pro-2 model will be the more classic styled body without a tilt screen and less money and the X100 model will be a fixed lens version of the X Pro-2 model.
