Mike, I know you had the X100F. Do you see much differences in the color between the F and V? I have the X100F and don't plan to upgrade but wondering if you see a big difference.

I have been very happy with the X100F and carried it as my main travel camera for six months in SE. Asia leaving the Leica MP240 behind. Thanks, Rich Newton

Rich, I don’t notice much difference between the “F” and “V” when it comes to color.

I upgraded to the X100V because of the improved lens - it is sharper in my opinion - and because of the other physical camera changes. That does not include the tilt screen. I don’t care about the tilt screen. I wish the X100V had the same universally despised flip back as the X-Pro3. I really like that flip back. I also like that the X100V is a little bit bigger than the X100F. With a leather half case on the X100V it fits perfectly in my hand.

Anyway, Rich, if you’re totally satisfied with the X100F you should stick with it.

If you’re happy and you know it… no problems!

All the best,
Mike
