Fun question for radiographers

Sooo....there's always a bunch of discussions going on about the impact of x-ray scans at the airport on film. But what if you brought a film camera and a bunch of film today into the x-ray room? That's basically what I did today and it didn't occur to me that there MIGHT be a possible impact.

So while I wait to find some time to develop said films, anyone well versed in the mystical voodoo which is x-ray waves can offer their opinions?

Not to fire up the old airport x-ray thing, but I passed exposed and unexposed film (the fastest being ISO400) through carry-on scanners four or fives times on a recent trip with no ill effects. I only asked for a hand check twice--once for a giant x-ray machine in Moscow that was scanning suitcases, and another time for the same type of machine in the US, where I was held for half an hour because I had forgotten about a small, old, bruised apple in my bag.
