I got a birthday present today and took this with it tonight.

I hate PBase sometimes. It's a little finicky about when it wants to let images to work.

I attached it to this post.

Melanie: OT but how do you get all your B&W shots to look so creamy? They all have a choco tone to them and relatively low contrast. I use some of the same film but mine all come out more contrasty than your's.. I'm developing TriX in Diafine. Maybe it's because my post processing is different than your's. I'm talking about something like this image:

Oops. I missed this. I develop in D76 1:1 and postprocess in CS2 adding a duotone (one of the installed quadtones, actually). I think I keep the contrast low because I have this bad tendency to totally distractingly blow highlights otherwise.

A more recent D-Lux 3 shot:

Space Shuttle Enterprise, Smithsonian Air and Space Museum Udvar-Hazy Center
RAW, converted in CS2 with duotone added, only because I thought it looked marginally more interesting in black and white than color

awesome.. I've lusted after the D-Lux for months.. can't quite justify it at this time, but who knows what the future might hold 🙂

(in case you were wondering, yes, I do take this photo over and over)

And I never get tired of seeing it. It's a great location.

It looks like you and the D-Lux are getting along quite famously.
