Been working on adapting this to the 50R by removing the lens hood.
Since the hood also prevents the lens cap from hitting the glass I printed a spacer for inside the lens cap to protect the glass.
It still vignettes hard in the corners but is very usable in 1:1 or 65:24.
First test shot in 65:24. Very very wide, around 120 degrees horizontal.

Carrying a full size tripod around all day is not fun; even if it is made of carbon fiber. It’s kind of like my morning exercise routine. I don’t want to do it; I have to force myself to do it. But, afterwards I’m so glad I did it and the results make it all worthwhile. After walking all over Miura beach today for about 3 hours this was my last shot before returning to the train station to go home.
