Hi Mike,
How do you find the 30mm? I am thinking of getting one, but can't decide between 30 and 23. I have the 63 and 35-70mm. I got this syetem mainly for landscapes. I rarely go below 24mm full frame so the 30mm seems the one to get. I will eventually get the 20-35 at some point I guess, but they are sold out everywhere in the UK.
(I am also going to get the 100-200mm.)
Cheers,
Mark

Hi Mark,
The Fujinon GF 30mm f3.5 R WR lens is my favorite of the bunch. Mainly because it's so much fun to use it with the camera set to the 65:24 aspect ratio. I also like to use the 30mm for street with the camera set to16:9 aspect ratio. My second favorite is the 45mm f2.8 followed by the 100-200mm zoom.
Most of the time that I'm using my GFX stuff I've got the camera on a tripod, but recently I've been doing a bit of hand held photography with it it. It's all so much fun!
All the best,
Mike

Thanks, Mike.
Those panoramic shots look great. I have never tried that aspect ratio.
I think I will probably go with the 30mm.
Cheers,
Mark

Mark, I think using the GF 30mm f3.5 lens with a GFX camera set to the 65:24 aspect ratio creates a cinematic looking image.
These two images were hand held and spur of the moment but I think they represent well enough what I'm talking about..
