Fungus on shutter curtain

Hi everyone,

I've recently purchaced a Leica IIc and i've discovered that the shutter curtains hane some spots on them that look like fungus. Is there a way to get rid of them? I attach a picture to see.

Exposing the spots to sunlight for a while (camera not loaded) should fix them if they are fungus -- BUT I must say that I do not know if that could harm something.

I cleaned them with some surgical spirit and now they look clean but i am bit concerned with what you said that there might be more inside.

isopropyl alcohol! fungal spores are omnipresent, it's moisture that creates the problem, just keep silica gel in with your gear. Repairmen worried about cross contamination, crazy.
