FYI - updated roadmap showing all the 2013 offerings

Thanks for the update, Gary. I'm not so interested (at the moment) in the 55-200 lens, but I'm definitely looking at the 27mm pancake lens.

Regarding the 55-200 lens... I might look at that one after I receive the 18-55mm lens and see how well it works on the x-pro1.
 
DPReview is carrying the story as well. I noted this tidbit in particular:
Meanwhile the promised XF 23mm F1.4 R and XF 27mm F2.8 R pancake are expected to appear in the middle of the year, and the XF 56mm F1.4 R and XF 10-24mm F4 R OIS at the end of 2013.

If "May 2013" for the 55-200 zoom is correct; then I wonder what "middle of the year" means . . . . because I've always thought that would be June. . . but maybe Fuji's working off some sort of ancient Mayan calendar or something :D

That's funny. It kills me that they are worried about zooms over primes, but I guess that is where the money is. I'm dying for that 27mm pancake. :bang:
 
I really want to see some samples from the 56mm. I'm tempted to go for the 60mm right now, but the 56mm might be worth the wait. They're very similar in focal length so it's hard to justify owning both.

I'm also excited for the 15-24mm.
 
An updated newsflash via Fuji on the AP website today I notice with *4* of the lenses now having their release date put back :(

Fujifilm delays four XF lenses
Fujifilm Japan has put back the launch of four XF lenses it had planned to release early this year. Last year, Fujifilm said that, this spring, it had planned to release a 56mm f/1.4, 10-24mm f/4, 23mm f/1.4 and 27mm f/2.8 ‘pancake' lens.
However, during a meeting at Focus on Imaging in Birmingham, it emerged that the 23mm and 27mm will not now be available until the summer, while the 56mm and 10-24mm will not be launched until the end of 2013.
Fuji's 55-200mm f/3.5-4.8, meanwhile, is expected to arrive in May.
Makoto Ooishi, from Fujifilm Japan's product planning division, said that the 55-200mm zoom will feature 14 elements in 10 groups and include an aspherical element, plus three extra-low dispersion elements.
A Fujifilm UK spokeswoman said there is no official reason for the ‘slight delay' on the lens roadmap, adding that the firm is ‘on track to deliver the full range by the end of the year'.
She stressed the importance of customers being made aware that the company plans to have a range of Fujinon lenses as part of its compact camera system.

I'm getting that tele-zoom... Wonder if I should sell my 70-200L first or wait and see how it performs??
