I have a G1 with a 45/f2. It has been operating flawlessly since I received it 2 weeks ago other than, the lighting inside the viewfinder for the Data ie: distance ,shutter speed seems to flicker or better the intensity of the illumination seems to reduce just briefly. I have only noticed this with my flash on it (TLA200). Has anyone else experienced this.
I purchased this from BH and it came with a 1 year warranty from Kyocera.:bang:

Just tried it on mine with the same combo. I don't really see anything flickering in there. Took a shot with TLA 200 flash, no change. Not exactly sure what I'm looking for. You are absolutely sure you have brand new batteries in both?

If you mean the Camera Batteries, I just replaced them, with some Panasonic brand,( I think ) of course I'm definetly not shy about pointing and pushing the button to focus on something. I will try some new ones.
The Flash has some fairly used ones, but it still cycles fairly quick.
I still have the same roll of 36 in the camera when I first changed them and the little low battery indicator hasn't come on. Last time the low battery indicator came on the batteries were actualy beyond use.
Any recomendations for the best performance batteries for this camera?

Not sure, but I usually cough up the extra dough and buy the energizer or duracell. They're to expensive but they last a long time. Unless you put the focus mode on 'C'ontinous, that will eat up the batteries really really fast!

At the moment I have Duracels in my G2- I don't know for sure but they must be beyond 25 rolls now.
And lots of subjects I focused on but did not shoot. I bought two panasonics to take to Cuba, but didn't need them.
I have no low battery warning yet, but my viewfinder ilumination flickers with a switched on TLA 30.

And now to scanning more slides, I hate it!
