G1 without live review ?

I have disabled the live review on my G1 - it through me when a frozen picture in the EVF prevented me from taking another picure immediately .
Now it's a whole lot more user friendly !

I remember using my Canon G2 without even opening the screen and just using the finder .

Maybe this is SLR style ?

i understand your issue, but most days, i leave the live review function in place, and just tap the shutter release button to get rid of the prior photo. not appropriate for action days, but a useful workaround for me.

I have the live review set to 1 second on my G1; this is slow enough to permit me enough information to decide if the shot needs to be retaken, yet fast enough that it doesn't slow down my pace of shooting.

I have the review turned off on every camera I own. I can always review later. I'd rather delete a few bad shots later than miss a shot while chimping an image.
