Gallery Picks is an opportunity for you to post a heads up to what you have seen during the past seven days at RFF that you like.
There's no membership requirement, no criteria (except past seven days), no voting, no limit to the number of photos mentioned, and everybody mentioned is a winner.

Anybody can start the thread on a Monday.

Anybody can join in, it's a community event!

A little more enthusiasm and participation would be good this week ... don't be shy.

I know there's a few members out there who probably feel that this thread is the same old protagonists engaging in the same back slapping routine week after week. It only seems that way because not enough people are actually contributing or becoming involved in it so we see the same names time after time.

Here's a few that I noticed and liked this week.

Petronius' images are always simple but amazing.

This one by Maddoc realy grabbed me.

Malkmata's Holga shots persuaded me to try one. I ordered one this afternoon.

There have been several 'triffic snaps this week. For example:

BTMarcais: Modern

Was this really taken in Alameda, Ca.? It looks like an old Vauxhall Cresta/Velox or Victor, but in California?

Anyway, it's a fine photograph with nice contrast in both composition and exposure.
