Thanks for the mentions guys- ChrisN, I'm not sure what kind of car it is actually, I'll post some more pics of it close up, see if that helps.
The owner pulled it out of the driveway, and spent most of the morning cleaning and polishing it up. My father in-law (who lives across the street) says this was the owner's weekend ritual.
Unfortunately my Dutch wasn't quite good enough to ask the gentleman about his car...
and no, MickH, it wasn't shot in Alameda, it was shot in The Netherlands, across the street from my in-laws in Den Haag, near Kijkduin-Strand.

Thanks to anyone who noticed my pics this week. I personally don't expect aknowledgement for mentioning anyone elses efforts so I sort of apply the rule to myself.

I'm with you Keith. I don't doubt that anyone who sees one of their images posted here is grateful and pleased. I would hate to think a "thanks" in the form of a reply is needed or required etiquette. Would much rather see people post more images. I always see lots of wonderful work here that I've missed in the Gallery and that is what makes this forum so rewarding. Perhaps people can post a single, eternal "thanks."
