Gallery problems--mine

I have tried unsucessfully twice to upload 5 images a day into the gallery and each time I've gotten the message "image exceed file size" next to each attempted image. I know it's MY problem, but how do I fix it? Please pardon my stupidity.

Any advice/ help would be appreciated.

How large ARE your image-files? Don't forget that the filesize on the disk may exceed the actual filesize by about 5%.

Bill, the limitations have changed over time so I may be mistaken... but I believe there's a pixel-size limit at 800; must be smaller than 800 pixels on the long side. I don't now see where it says that, may be out of date. But the upload page does say you have a 250k file-size maximum (350k for Premium members), so try to slide a bit below that as well as the pixel size limit when prepping your jpeg.

The other "gotcha" on uploading is that a full 24 hours must elapse since the previous upload, so it tends to slide ever later in the day...
