Gallery: 'The photo you are viewing is in a category which is not accepting comments'

I've just noticed this message under one of my recent photos in the Gallery:
'The photo you are viewing is in a category which is not accepting comments at this time.'

Have I accidentally done something? I upload all my pictures to Member Galleries.

I appreciate feedback on my pictures and didn't intend to block comments.

Edit: how do I allow comments on the above photo?

Hi Lynn. I had this happen too.

If memory serves, I changed the Photo Category to "All Other"...it's in the Show/Hide Photo Detail Editor on the photo's page.

Make sure 'Photo Status" is set to "Public"

Two of mine ended up private without me checking this box. Switched them to public.

I now have one picture which I did not make private and which by iPhone, iPad and Laptop I cannot alter to be public. Weird.

Edit: I have to select ALL OTHER or some category and maybe choose a title, and now it allows my reassignment to Public to take effect.
