Gallery Upload Problem

All,

I've been trying to upload three photos to the Gallery for four days now!

I've tried uploading them in a batch and singly. I've tried uploading from a remote drive and from the C-drive.

Everything seems to go find when I hit the Upload/Submit button. Drives whirr and there seems to be communication b/w RFF and my computer.

But then, after a while, the original (now blank again) upload page reappears rather than the "successful upload" message.

Any ideas what I am doing wrong. I've gotten other pics into the gallery and think I'm doing things correctly.

Thoughts please.

i've uploaded some pics this past 2 days without problem.

check size and format first.

and then hope jorge sees this...🙂

I just uploaded 5 pictures a few minutes ago with no problems, Well I did resize them and curse a few bad words and waste 2 hours digging around in photoshop only to resize in my HP image software instantly to e-mail size. I think they turned out ok and are represenitive of the location and the lighting but Im far from satisfied with my editing in general.

I've had misfired uploads a few times recently, both for gallery additions and message attachments.

I'm guessing it's some kind of intermittent weirdness in the underlying database that drives RFF.

Thanks for the thoughts - and I'm BUMPING for more ideas on this.

Yeah - it's driving me batty.

I had a batch of five I wanted to upload last Friday.

Two went in okay but not the other three.

I've checked the size - but will do so again.

Thing is - usually the Gallery will tell you if you're oversized. [And I'm not talking about my "holiday gut" damnit!] 😀

I'll keep trying during this week - I am at the house in Tucson and using a wireless conncection. Don't think that should matter - have done so before. But next weekend I'll be back in NY and can try through my DSL.

Really driving me nuts !! 😱

It was the sizing!

Duh!

Guess I got confused and correctly "sized" the first two and then "thought" I did the rest.

Thanks for suggesting I "quadruple check" on my end - the DUH end!!! ;-)
