Gallery Uploads

Sorry that I missed any announcement but does someone know when the Gallery uploading capability will be restored?

She will be down until the transition to the new hosts is complete. That is going on as we speak, and I think it will only be days, rather than weeks.... but I don't know anything specific.

Frank is correct in saying there's a lot of good work in the gallery, especially street stuff. I'm missing it too.

Out of curiosity, as I too may have missed the announcement, but would there be any change to the 200kb limit?

I am having real problems uploading photos - tried twice to load to one of my galleries last night, nothing uploaded. Managed to get one to upload tonight, but when I tried the second one I got the following error:

Error creating thumbnail! Error code: 1

Command:

"/usr/bin/mogrify" +profile "*" -size 0x150 -quality 80 -geometry 0x150 '/home/rff/www/photopost/data/7273/thumbs/20111124-DSC00239.jpg'

I just managed to load the second one using Firefox. Is there perhaps a problem using Chrome (my default browser)?

I got the same error message last night. I tried three times, and it worked on attempt three.
