Check your local PBS station for times.

Thanks. I foolishly missed it when it was playing at a theatre near me last month. Edit: feeling more foolish because the Buffalo PBS station either isn’t broadcasting it, or because of “rights” issues can’t feed it to cable in Canada.

I didn't even know it was nearby...

Well, Winogrand photography is timeless and worth of paying few CAD to see it in real HD quality once it will be available on streaming media.

BTW, television in Ontario is only worth of watching over the air. The rest like Rogers cable is terribly compressed. It is not HD, not even SD quality.
Talking from insider perspective :).

Both Amazon Prime and Youtube have it available for rent or purchase.

I'm not willing to pay for amazon subscription.
And it is not available on YouTube Canuckistan.

But it is showing it at regular Amazon. I will try!

I am located in The Netherlands and for the life of me, I can't find a platform where I can watch this. Legitimate or other sources. I don't want to buy the DVD as I am not into having more stuff. Would love to stream it or even download it and have no problem paying for either. Any ideas?

I know, I saw it when it was briefly streaming free on the PBS site. It was great and I'd pay for seeing it again but who even has a DVD player anymore? Not me for sure.

You're in New England though so you could get it through US iTunes as well as US Amazon, no? I hear you on the DVD thing. I have an external drive for my Mac as there are still a lot of folks that have archives on DVD and I kinda need that for my line of work.

Amazon Prime video lists it for sale for $9.99. Of course you have to be a Prime member to get the streaming.

Amazon also sells DVD players for as little as 30 bucks.

So either pay for an expensive subscription service just for this or buy a DVD player I can't plug into anything (lacking a TV) for $50 including the DVD, just to see one movie. I think I'll have to pass.

Thanks for the tip. I’m in Canada and watched it on a download from iTunes ($4.99 Cdn for 48 hours). Of course, now that I’ve done that, it will probably be all over free TV in the coming weeks:)

Finally managed to track a version of it that was slightly edited for content (nipples etc) and what really struck me the most is the last thing that Thomas Roma says "After everything Gary did, we want Gary to tell us what its about? Anything else? You want him to clean your house? HE TOOK THE PICTURES, THAT'S IT!" I swear this make me jump and clap. All the analyzing of one's work is cool etc but to be honest, it's starts to grate after a while. I am sure this is a conversation for the ages. If anyone wants to see this please, let me know, I will send you a link.
