Gates to Photojournalism

Apparently the decline of the great photo agencies has a moral as well as a monetary side.

Surprise, surprise.

A parallel situation: people spend lots of money on computers (and Windows) and then expect all the content for free...

Cheers (though there's not much to cheer about),

Most big corporations are bulldozers. The "Little People" are ground up as grease for the treads. There are few exceptions.

generalizations are useless information. I owned a computer store in the '80's and Gates and company (Microsoft) were known as the ripoff company of the personal computer age. So no surprise here.

Not surprised, seems like the SOP of most large corporations today. That does not make it any easier to take though.

Its a situation I think about a lot and a terrible shame. its hard to know what can be done apart from people shooting because it is important to them (and when they can afford to do so).
