Waiting on Maitani
I just picked up a Weston Master IV that needed a new movement. I had it repaired at Photo Outfitters in Windsor, ON.
Andrian Harte, one of the owners, appears to be a very good general repair tech. There are two or three cases of vintage cameras he has serviced back to for sale or even collectible status.
Since my Master IV wasn't working even though the cell seemed fine, I gave him a shot. The movement was not good, and after a couple of weeks looking around he found a Master V movement and installed it, calibrated it, and voila!
The best news is he charged ALL OF $40CDN for his work (plus PST/GST, of course,) which I thought was a steal. But I'm not complaining.
When I picked up the meter Adrian wasn't there, and I forgot to ask if they are interested in items via mail/courier. But this is potentially a good resource for repairs. I'm pretty sure they are Leica dealer (although they have no stock,) and Adrian has worked on many different RF makes.
I just wanted to let the CDN RFF community know of a potential source of repair and CLA work. I'll probably give them some more work down the road.

Well-known
Thank you! It's good to know and it's also very beneficial to support local technicians. They are having a hard time with all those "disposable" digital P&S, I bet!
GoneSavage
not actually
If they are willing to do repairs via Canada post, then they likely have a new customer!
