Who ever suggested using a cable tie on tab-less lenses- Thank you very much! What a transformation....
Anyone have similar quirky fixes?

I saw that guy last month in San Fran, on Market Street--he was using Mickey that day and wearing the same outfit (denim vest etc.) Cool Guy. I also met the guy Brad who does citysnaps. Also a nice guy. Vladimir gave me some tips on dechroming my M2. I have no plans to persue them at this point.

Hey Wil... I remember bumping into you on Market Street and chatting a bit as well.
Nice that you were able to meet Vladimir. And hope you had a great time in San Francisco.
I usually run into Vlad every week. He's always with two chemically de-chromed M2s (he has eight total); one with a 50 , the other with a 35. He had two special pockets sewn into the interior of his vest to hold his cameras. He also has a Noctilux, but have never seen him with that. I did get a print in the mail from him the other day that was taken at night and had amazing bokeh, so I suspect that was with that lens.
Also, thanks all for checking out my blog!

There is something about naming it after someone who shot down B-17s that bothers me. After all this time, he's still supporting Germany's WWII ambitions? I'd rather name it after someone who shot down a few Messerschmits.

Failing to see how your viewpoint is any more valid than that of someone who 'supports the enemy.'
Please try and consider that not every member of an Axis military was a jew-killing lunatic. 99% were just regular folk doing their jobs
Back on topic- I don't know if I will ever look at my M3 the same, now... De-chromed, eh...
