German Cameras

Are you going to use it?
These little plate folders are so much fun to use!
I wish I could, but I'll have to find a suitable rollfilm back first.
I have no plates for it and I'd rather use 120 film if possible. Maybe you are in the know about these little gems and can give me some advice? You're welcome. I've read RADA or Plaubel roll film backs could fit.
Anyway I've got enough folders at home that I use now and again. But the quality of this Rodenstock is pretty outstanding. Everything works nicely.

Rada or Rollex but take care that it has the "Erneman-" or "Normalfalz" which fits with your groundglas!

The "Plaubel-Falz" is a bit different it gets bigger in the last 3rd so it wouldn´t fit to any other cam as a Plaubel.
I have one Plaubel casette with cut film insert and an unidentified to give a way - Maybe you could make a pic of your ground glas and put the measurement on it. I will have a look if one of these will fit.

Beautiful! I have the "poor man's substitute" -- a Moskva-4, which is actually a very nice camera itself, though of course not the genuine article.

Thank you!

I don't thinkt that a Moskwa is a "poor (man's) substitue" for a Super Ikonta.

At least my Moskwa 5 shows very nice build quality (better that most Zorki or FED) and give also very good images.

Here my two Super Ikonta togehter with a Moskwa 5:

Thank you. I'll check the size of the ground glass tomorrow. Online litterature confirms I should be careful about the "for Erneman" detail. Not that many around though.

This Bessa 66 (circa 1941) was broken since fifties. It came to me with original letter from this time, indicating it.
Jammed shutter and not functioning frame counter, shutter blocker.
Made it works again last week.
