Getting bored with digital

I quite like my Pentax K20D DSLR. Images are sort of film-like, but what really sold me on the camera is that ALL my old M42 Super Takumar lenses designed for the Pentax Spotmatic cameras fit right onto the K20D with a $25 adapter. If you care to, look in My Photos, the 7th image in called Erotic Art, taken with the K20D and a very old Super Takumar 50/4 macro, un-photoshopped except for a crop.

Interesting image..:D

I still have a Spotmatic F. May have to take it out for a few shots..

Colyn: Great fun to give it a try. Probably the original PX625 1.35v mercury battery is dead. However, the Wein cell PX625/PX13 has the same voltage and should provide accurate meter readings.

For those unfamiliar with the Spotmatic F, it was the first spotty to offer open aperture metering. However, the meter comes on when you remove the lens cap, so best to replace it when done shooting. At least you can't make a mistake - as with an RF camera - and take a shot with the lenscap on. (Don't ask how many times I've done this).

I have an adapter which allows me to use silver oxide 357 cells so metering isn't a problem..
