the size had me worried but i have always been able to adapt/adjust to most cameras that i have used. i'm liking the body especially since i added a small no name grip to it. the 2 new smaller lenses (23/50) are downright tiny compared to their faster siblings. i went out this past weekend to do some shooting but the muse was missing...ended up with nothing that i liked but practicing with the xt20 was fun anyway.

As much as I love the simplicity and fixed lens of my x100s, I am tempted to buy an interchangeable X camera to try out a few manual focus lenses particularly some Konica LTM and M glass. The X-E2 seems like the ideal body for this, especially if you prefer the VF on the left and not the center. It is certainly more to my budget than the XPro-2!

I recently advised my parents to go with a X-T20 and the 18-55 zoom. They are still waiting on delivery but I would love to try out the camera sometime. Gotta love Fujifilm!

A long story short, I am a 5 year x100 shooter-had the desire and believed that ILC would be the way to go, rented then bought a XT2, beautiful camera received last Friday with a 27mm pancake-23mmf2.0 and a M converter for my M glass, the 27mm to replicate the simplicity of the x100 for street/reportage which is 90% of my interest......after FOUR days I so missed the simplicity of the x100/no decision of what lens to use etc.- I returned the XT2 today! and bought the 100f which I get Friday. For me, I love the x100 & use with my M5/M6 for B&W film, lesson learned for me, keep it simple and what has been working for me- Dan

the xt20 might be the most complicated camera i have ever used. i keep the manual bookmarked at work and read bits of it daily. i even carry the paper manual around too.
i almost sold the xt20 out of sheer frustration with the size...but this past weekend i put the fuji 35/2 on it and carries only that kit and forced myself to take a few shots of mostly crap images....but i did get more used to it. i'm still torn, have bad, good and better days with it...it has some fancy techno in it especially for a guy who loved the rd1...

The XE3 rumors are heating up.
I sure hope that fuji models more after the xpro2 interface rather than the xt20 touchscreen.
The xt20 is great as an xtrans-3 entry.
The xt20 images speak for themselves (great iq)but, the small size and lack of focus joystick makes it a wait and see.
This time around It would be nice if fuji treated the xe model as it's own entry rather than a "dumbed down" x-pro.

I can easily see how you might reach this conclusion. Lately, following a long period of using an assortment of other cameras - and largely ignoring my x100(original) - I've resumed using the x100 more.

It really is a joy to use..... at least, it is most of the time 😉.

'rumour' has it there will be no touch/tilt screen on the xe3...i like that it might be smaller than the xe series so far...
