Another roll of the Superia Reala 100, this time with the QL17 GIII. I'm really please at the latitude it's showing. 'Twas a bright/cloudy day, with lots of wind. High contrast, bright sky, and I thought a challenging mix for any camera and film. This combo handled it rather well. Comments appreciated. Oh, yeah...it was raining, too.

Regards!

Reala really has more saturation than that, I've found. It almost seems the shots might be overexposed by a half stop or so. Or maybe the lab you used is not 100%? The best shot is the first. Very nice.

Jim, all the colors were a LOT muted. The day was fairly bright, but full of low, gray clouds, rendering a pretty subdued tonal range. Other stuff I've shot with Reala is, indeed, highly saturated...to the point where I had to tone it down during processing. Next time I shoot it, I'm going to rate it at 80 rather than 100, and see what happens.

Regards!
