Anyone any idea which Giottos Screen protector would be right for the X100. I see that they don't actually have a 2.7" version but was wondering if any of the others might work. Thanks

The small size rocket blower should be big enough... ;-)
In other words: Which Giottos product, right for what? The answer for a question on the most appropriate ball head for a hiking tour would be very different from the one for the best 2m high tripod...
Most of the variables concerning tripod or head choice are not camera but task related - until you hit camera weights beyond average tripod specifications.

There you are, hereabouts Giottos (or their local distributor) don't even have screen protectors...
Going by the US site they seem to distribute 3M foils thereabouts, like everybody else. If they don't have them in the right size, there must be hundreds of other 3M foil sellers - there even are some that cut to measure...

The Giottos AEGIS SP8270 appears to be the best fit. It is a 2.7" LCD Protector. You basically have two options; to cover the LCD only or to get a larger protector, which not only covers the LCD, but the surrounding outer bezel.

I installed the Giottos SP8270 on my X100. It fits just right over the bezel with no overlap extending beyond, but cuts off perhaps one or two millimeters on each side, if even. I use the OVF and not the LCD for taking pictures, so lost LCD space is not a problem. When previewing pictures on the LCD, I don't notice any loss of sizing, either. The next larger size of Giottos would have been too big and would have extended beyond the bezel.
