Hi I'm taking a weekend trip to Melaka (Malacca), Malaysia. Any one been there and can give some tips. It's just me and my camera this time so I'm looking for interesting things to shoot. Since I'll only be there for two days, I'm hoping I don't miss anything.

Tips / Suggestions are much appreciated. Thanks in advance!

It's been a while since I was there. It is not that big. In two days you can cover the historic/touristy bits, as well as walk the old town. The two things that stood out for me were the lengthy inscriptions (life stories) on the tomb stones in the dutch cemetery (it helps that I can read dutch though), and the atmosphere of the old town. There is lots to see just walking the streets.
I didn't see much of the portuguese section, but find it fascinating that they are still a thriving community after hundreds of years of British rule.
