Going to Nicaragua, seeking film advice

My wife and I will be traveling to Nicaragua this summer. Along with the dSLR I plan to bring one of my film cameras (35mm or MF, not sure at this point). My question is about airport x-ray inspection. I know I'll be fine on the way in (TSA in the US has been very good about doing manual inspection), but my concern is when I fly home and have to go through airport security in Managua. Has anyone had any experience with airport security in Managua?
