Hey all,

I'm interested in getting a new monitor for photo editing, and am wondering if anyone has any recommendations? The only requirement for me is that it's gotta have a matte screen.

Thanks!

I´ve got two.

Eizo Coloredge CG222W (called 223 today) and it´s surprisingly good and relatively cheap.

You´ll need a calibrator as well of course.
This was the first one I bought for myself when I didn´t have a lot to spend.

Nowadays I work as a photographer (employed) with more to spend and are working with a coloredge cg246 (247 today).

It has an IPS panel which means better viewing angle. Also better colorspace (Adobe RGB), integrated calibrator and 1920 pixels resolution. A bit more expensive but also a bit cheaper than the 277.
