Good news today

Just got a e-mail from Oleg @ OK Photocamera that my Kiev 4m which I shipped to him for repair on Dec.16 2005 has finally arrived at his place.
It took 2 1/2 month to get there from NY.
I had given up hope and had put a tracer on the package.
I have heard other have had similar long delevery.
Have received packages from the FSU in as little a 7 days but I guess it takes a lot longer for a package to get to FSU then to get here.
Don't know if the problem is on this side or there side of the pond.

I suspect strongly that the delay is in their customs. On the other hand, you could just have been unlucky and your parcel fell of a belt somewhere and wasn't noticed for a while.

Consider yourself lucky! Somebody else here had their package rerouted through Zambia! Took six months!
