Hi all,
Any recommendations for buying 35mm film in Manhattan -- near Central Park South?
Looking for Portra 160 -- need not be lowest price in the hemisphere, I only need a couple of rolls.
Thanks.

There aren't really any decent photo stores 'uptown' and "near Central Park South." There are a lot of those scammy electronics stores everywhere, but 'real' photo stores are pretty much at 34th Street (B&H) and down (in the 20s).
I haven't been in any of the little scammy electronics stores in a long while and suspect that even if they do have film(!), it might only be the 'consumer grade' Kodak or Fuji products, and i'm quite sure it wouldn't have been refrigerated.
If you're from out of town and have never been to B&H, it's worth a trip, even just to browse. It's crazy.

Yes and Yes.
But, B&H is - by far - a better experience. BY FAR. And i have nothing against Adorama. It's just a store. B&H is the cat's.
