Good slide scanning service in the UK?

Tried this thread in "Scanners", but no response - maybe because they all do their own scanning, so please excuse the double post!
I was going to buy a scanner but am now thinking that for the relatively small number of slides I want to scan I may be better off using a professional scanning service...and get better results...and not spend hours doing it....can anyone recommend any of the operators in the UK? Digiscan were the people I was thinking of using. Thanks. Guy.

I use them for all sorts, including scanning and have never once been disappointed, they are even good with me calling them up and asking for weird service options...

The only I would say against them, is dont be put off by the website, it looks really cheap and its not easy to navigate, but once you get to the pricing and work out your service requirements, its all good from there...

I would recommend Palm Labs of Birmingham. I have used them for several years and always had very good quality developing, prints and scans.
