Not sure where to post this but whilst I was in hospital the past couple of months, I was unable to post to my on blog...not that it was even on my mind because it wasn't.

Now, I find that I cannot post an image from my computer as before. Has there been a change? Have I forgotten how to do it? 😱

Can't find anyone at Google to email, so I am hoping others using this blog source can help.

Cant help with your question but wanted to tell you the vampire story was very moving. I am a nurse so I can relate from the other side. what you wrote should be read by every lab tech so they never forget the human or humanity of the person they are dealing with. I work on a stroke floor in Macon and know the hardship involved with the whole process. I pray all is well with you and your bride.

I use it, haven't made a new post in a while, just tried to edit an old one and could upload easily.
Have you changed browser? Or tried a different one?
Regards
Mark

Go to www.blogger.com

There should be a "Sign in" form asking for E-Mail and Password.

If you are being redirected anywhere else look at the top right bottom of the screen. Are you logged in already?

There is something "strange" sometimes with blogger, Dave. As a visitor of your blog I found myself may times unable to post comment (even trying different identities). And sometimes I was able to do it. The same happens with other blogs based on the blogger platform, sometimes yes, sometimes no. Not sure why. I was told it blogger is a completely automatic thing. Hope you manage to solve it. ciao

Well, last night I installed Chrome (it sucks but it works). So, I reckon my old Internet Explorer 8 will not work with blogger now. I can post photos through Chrome but it is a PITA when computer crap goes obsolete.🙄

I wish I could copy the whole blog, even if just screen shots and use another blog software but it is too much trouble to start over. My plate is full.

There maybe a way.. I can think of three different approaches. But not sure if this is what u want.

Somewhat tedious --> "print to PDF"
Can be a bit tedious as well, depends on how your blog screens are laid out and if the blog allows the ability to print the webpage or not.. If so, on the Mac during the print dialog there is an option to print to PDF in a pull down on the far left bottom corner. On windows machines u need to install free/share ware for this purpose. I am on a Mac, so cannot help w/ any recommendations. Just do a google search for "print to PDF". If u own a profession copy of adobe PDF u already have a special print driver for this purpose.

The easier option is if the blogging site allows for FTP download of the your blog's HTML related files and such.

The third option are apps associated with offline browsing of a website. I don't know much about them, outside of the fact for them to work, they need to capture all the HTML and associated info to cache locally on your computer. Some my give u option to permanently save that info offline.

Good luck
Gary

Hmmm...that gives me some things to think about. Will try to give them a go this week when I can find some time in between rehab visits. Thanks, Gary!🙂

Internet Explorer overall usage is fading. IE8 does not support more recent widely used web standards. Google obviously promotes Chrome and has no motivation to make their products compatible with IE8. It is annoying when software becomes obsolete.
