Took out the Canonet again. It has become my usual 'back-up' cam when I'm lugging around a bag full of Leica or Nikon stuff. But sometimes I wonder why I bother with all that gear when my little ancient bargain can do this:

One reason I hang out at RFF is to learn new photographic techniques. :angel:
I also have two kids, and I hope to use the "Raid Technique" next time I go to the beach!

It's not slide film, it's plain vanilla Fuji Superia 200 (= print film). But the light was great that day, sunshine with a bit of haze, so bright but soft. I did no post processing on this shot, besides resizing. Neg was scanned with my Nikon Coolscan V, metered with Gossen Digiflash.
And Raid, that shot is so funny
My colleague calls that an excuse shot, he even manages to make shots like that of his wife, with a pretty lady in the background he focused on ;-)
