It's a jewel of a camera. I got it last week after much hesitation, mostly about the cost. It rained over the weekend and I work so I didn't get to use it until today. I took about 20 shots before I lost the light. It is really a pleasure to use and I look forward to a long collaboration.
The shutter sounds quieter with film loaded and when you are outside and not in a still camera store.
film loading will take getting used to , but I think I did the first roll ok.
I can't wait to see the results!
After almost a roll, I can tell that my other cameras are not going to get as much usage as in the past, I might have to have a garage sale...

Congratulations, and you will find the cost of ownership to be very low indeed. Having film in the camera and a lens on the front really makes a difference with respect to the shutter sound. What focal length are you using to begin with?

I got the 50 2.0 Summicron.
The multiple frame lines are a little confusing at first, but I can see the advantage of having the out of frame world visible

You'll forget the framelines after some usage. same thing with having to adjust the shutter speed/aperture. It all becomes second nature, which is how you want it. Congratulations!

Congratulations. I just bought a black paint MP .85x last week, too! I share in your enthusiasm and joy. Strangely, I prefer shooting my 35s with a higher magnification finder; I believe my preference is based on the focusing accuracy.

That is the key to RF shooting, being able to see outside of the frame through the VF.I got the 50 2.0 Summicron.
