Noticed my frames overlapped badly. I'm no weakingly, and I like showing off how loudly I can cock this SOB, so I don't think that's my problem. Is there a specific way to load this camera vs. my Mamiya 645? The 645's negatives come out perfectly spaced, but no the Koni.

Any help would be great. Thanks.

I've got a Rapid 200 and from what I've read(and observed) the backs are notorious for uneven frame spacing. But I find if I load it just right I usually get away with no overlaps on either of my backs, just close shaves here and there. YMMV though.

My loading procedure is:

1. Advance an empty back until the frame number window says "LOAD."

2. Thread backing paper through takeup spool and drop the roll in the appropriate place.

3. With your thumb, turn the takeup spool until you see the double sided arrow and it's facing(not pointing obviously) towards the full roll of film.

3. Close up the back and advance to frame 1.

Hope this helps, I did run across a few articles on cleaning the backs to fix the spacing issues. Google is your friend in this case. It looked like a pain though.

Probably the film advance clutch. Overhaul it yourself following these directions- but whatever you do, don't lose the springs! Or send it to Greg Weber for repair.

I noticed Weber's web-site has not been finished, and his email address is no
longer valid. has anyone had contact recently?

Whoops! My bad. I typed in the wrong email address for Greg Weber.
His web-site contact information is correct

Thanks for the advice guys. I'm going to run another roll through it and see if I just loaded it wrong. Playing with the back, it seems that it doesn't slip on the take up spool when I advance, and it is very smooth. Maybe I'm just a bonehead.
