got an invitation to Schmap guide for Vienna

Hi all!

one of my photos in flickr got an invitation to be published in the Schmap guide for Vienna. As I never heard of Schmap I googled it and found it.
So my question - ever heard from it? Is it trustworthy and serious? Would you do it?

I got a request too for a pic of Cambridge, and clicked on YES.
I'm purely amateur, and frankly flattered by the attention. They have interesting content on their site, and press coverage, they look serious enough. If they every want to pay for the pic it'll go towards my Leica CL...

I know how hard it is to get a site like this rolling! so more power to them.

Ok. They earn money with their maps. So you support them with you photo for free. At least your name is under the photo. I got a request for a photo of the vienna prater and said yes. Didn't get more attention on my flickr-stream.

I don't know the company you mention, but I received a similar request from a travel guide wanting to use one of my photographs from Flickr - no compensation - only credit so it was easy for me to say no.
What did the company offer you?

I allowed a request for a shot in Houston, TX. Seems harmless enough.
