I picked up an unusual folder the other day, a Bower-X (aka. Adox Sport IIa rouge). It's a 620 film folder, although I have managed to "modify" 120 roll film to fit. The camera has a Schnieder Radionar 105mm/4.5 lens (triplet) that performs decently. While this is not a point and shoot camera t isn't difficult to use.

Let's see your folder!

Here are some pics of the sexy little red beast.

...and a few shots from it, guessing ditance isn't one of my forte's...

Hmm, interesting challenge (take out the digital camera, take out my folder, put it on the table, turn on the lights, click, upload on computer, upload on board) AHH! I'll follow-up tomorrow morning. In the meantime, here's a picture from my Franka Solida IIIL:

I'll try to put up a photo of my latest project - a "Frank" (Franka Japanese clone) 6x6 folder that I recovered with a cut-up ladies black leather boot - boy, was she mad! Just kidding, I bought it at Goodwill for $3. That does remind me that I need to finish the roll of film that is in it and process it. Thanks!

Best Regards,

Bill Mattocks

Nice camera and as always really attractive shots Todd ! Did you do the red leather job or was it that way already ?

My flea market Bessa I with Color Skopar 105/3.5. I'm impressed on how well built this one is, and how extremely smooth everything works, I haven't tried the classic 'real' Voigtlander before but now I admit I'm seriously impressed, yep.

I'm posting two shots from the Moskva V and the Fuji GS645S taken this year. I have an Agfa Isolette I which I enjoy using a lot. It is as simple as a p&s with its hyperfocal points indicated in red. Set and shoot, great photos, but I don't have any in my gallery because it isn't a r/f. Photo from Moskva V on the left...

Here's two of mine I originally posted in the C&C thread. One is an Agfa Isolette and the other is a Zeiss Ikon Nettar. I've run film through both, but haven't gotten it developed yet. Sorry!

Hey Cap'n that is a very handsome Zeiss there! I've got one, but it looks like a chev compared to your Caddy. Right now it's over w the Gman for a CLA.

I'm out to the bookstore with my wife and when we're back I'll put up a couple of photos and also posed cameras

Funny you should say that, cause I had two of them and I gave G'man the other! 😀

'Fraid it doesn't look so good folded up. The paid on the chrome bits is flaking off pretty bad. However, the leather is holding up well and the bellows are solid, so I won't complain about paint flakes!

Folders... yeh, I got a few in here somewhere.

How big?

Calumet 4x5
2 Daiichi Zenobias
1Franka Rolfix with the lovely Radionar
1 Foldex with a Steinheil Munchen Cassar
1 ZIkon Nettar

more on the way, Im sure...

BTW, Todd... that's a babe of a 6x9.

Holy cow Craig, you could start a camera shop with that group, how often do they get used? I see you have a Franka with the radionar, is that a 105/4.5? What shutter?

I guess I'm not alone! the Adox above takes 620 film and I have been "modifying" 120 to fit, anyone else do this?

Nice equipment everyone, keep posting.

This is my oldest folder, from 1930. It's an Ikonta 520 with a Novar 75/6.3 and Derval shutter (that only works on one speed-slow). I paid $5.00 CDN at Henry's clearance store, then cleaned and adjusted what I could adjust. It works incredibly well. The crappy scan doesn't do justice to the prints.

Wonderful stuff! Fun factor looks very high!

I want to play - what's a good 6x9 with a coupled rangefinder for a modest amount of money?
