got folder?

I think I have a folder or two :bang: :bang: :bang:

2 4x5 SG's, 1 2x3 SG, 1 2x3 Busch Pressman, Moskva 2 & 5, Polaroid 800, Kodak No 1 Autographic (6x9 and my oldest camera circa 1920), Fionix Folfix, Seagull 203.

2 more Retina's and a Calumet 4x5 is not in the picture.

Holy cow Craig, you could start a camera shop with that group, how often do they get used? I see you have a Franka with the radionar, is that a 105/4.5? What shutter?

I guess I'm not alone! the Adox above takes 620 film and I have been "modifying" 120 to fit, anyone else do this?

Nice equipment everyone, keep posting.

I rotate the shooters often enough. Im getting back into my folders. Right now I've film in my Franka and my Nettar. I just shot some APX thru the Daiichi that came out very nice.

I'm sorry, I don't have a pic of my folder but my grandfather passed away almost a year ago now and left me his Kodak Pocket Jr. 1A. I just finished a roll of film in it yesterday--my second, the first one was highly unsuccessful--so I should be getting this one back late next week or so. I'll post some pics if anything good comes of it.

Yes, I do adapt 120 film to fit in mine. it actually is supposed to take 116 film so the chamber is a little wider than the 120. I just take some 3/4" or 1" dowel and saw a thin wafer off of the end and glue it on each end of the 120 roll. Luckily, I have an original roll for take up and just ask for that back after processing. I then just ditch the 120 roll after it's used.

I love the camera, personally. I love the look of all these folders in this thread, I love the way mine looks. I love the simplicity of one shutter speed, four apertures and one focal length... no focussing even. I love the feel of the history in my hands and part of my family. My granddad took all the family snaps on that one as my mom and her four brothers and sisters were growing up. I really wanted to have some photos from the camera for my mom for Christmas but it wasn't to be. I will have something for her at some point but not within the next week. 🙁

I was in Cleveland for work a little while ago for about a week and was billetted at a house there. The woman who hosted me is very much into photography and just set up her own darkroom and stuff. As a hostess gift I managed to get to an antique shop and found an Agfa folder (not sure which model etc.) and presented that to her with a roll of 120 b&w film. She was thrilled! I had originally bought the camera for me to add to my folder "collection" but had a change of heart coming back from the store. I'll just have to find another one I guess. 😛

Here is mine, a nice Ercona II:

I haven't tested it yet, still vaiting for the roll of film to arrive.

Scanning the slide is going to be another problem.

I've had a Voigtlander Bessa II 6x9 with 105 Color-Heliar, Perkeo II 6x6 with a Color Skopar, and a Vitessa-L 35mm with 50/2.0 Ultron. I'm not counting my folding LF cameras as "folders."

The Bessa II was a great camera on a tripod or for verticals, but the whole left-handed orientation didn't work for me with horizontals, and I want a folder primarily to be a handheld camera, so I sold it.--

The Ultron 50/2 is probably my favorite normal lens for 35mm, but I'm just not shooting 35mm so much anymore except for birds and copy slides, which I do with an SLR, so I sold the Vitessa-L too.--

The Perkeo II (the one in the attachment) turned out to be the keeper. The 80/3.5 Color-Skopar is a Tessar type. I've got a shoe mount uncoupled rangefinder on it, and it's smaller than many 35mm rangefinders. It usually lives in my briefcase or coat pocket as my carry-everywhere camera.--

I rechecked it. The reason they're working for you is because, most likely, they're on your local computer. It's directing to localhost. Strange. Edit: Fixed now. Weird.

But yeah, checked the blog. Nice folders. 🙂

Also...want a Kodak Vest Pocket? I'd like some chocolate, too! 😀 😛
