Just got my first Felix-Edmundovich-Dzerzhinsky camera (5B) yesterday. Its not the smallest, but not too heavy for its size. I think its going to be my first project camera.

I am going to try to paint it some nice color and re-leather it. The shutter seems to be working very well at all speeds, the lens (I-61) works and looks fine. But the rangefinder is completely messed up. Not only is it not aligning right (vertically and horizontally) but the glass on the inside has got some dark spots, something weird. Looks almost like a burn or something like that. I'll have to find some directions on taking the viewfinder apart and hopefully be able to clean it.

I am excited. :D

This site http://www.fedka.com/Frames/Main_Frame.htm should give you the information you need on adjusting and correcting the rangefinder. Clink on links and then on FEWD and Zorki Survival Site by Jay Javier and scroll down to rangefinder adjustments.
