Ohmigod is it ever cute.

And got an inspection sheet with an MTF graph and real filled-in data.

So, handling is pretty unique - with its tiny size.

Grrr, mine is due any day now... I see it arrived at JFK airport, it's gotta be soon. Congrats on getting yours. It's cool huh?

Ok I have mine on the M9-P. No instruction sheet unless it's with the inspection sheet in Japanese. is the little hood ok to leave on while shooting?

is the little hood ok to leave on while shooting?

Yes, and it makes changing the aperture easier too.

Also, the lens cap can be screwed directly onto the lens or onto the hood... I don't remember this being the case on the MKI edition.

With the Mk1, the front lens cap can be screwed into the rear lens cap, and the rear lens cap can become the front lens cap when the hood is on. Kind of a nifty arrangement.

Here are a couple random shots this morning. Both are F8 and 160 ISO shot with M9-P. I used non-asph summicron setting in the camera. Very bright day here in Arizona but the lens performed well and is sharp like everyone says. Shot in RAW, the only PP in lightroom was white balance and a slight exposure adjustment on the truck. No sharpening, clarity, contrast, saturation or noise adjustment.

I know the thread has been dormant for a year but it just seemed like the place to put some images taken with my Perar 35/3.5. This was taken with the Mark i version on my M9. I absolutely love this combo. It makes the M9 as close to being pocketable as I think I can get it and the image quality of this tiny little lens continues to surprise me. Think of it, a full frame digital camera that easily slides into your pocket, kind of blows me away.
