Those are amazing. The camera is a capable tool in your hands. Awesome shots 🙂

PetarDimas, your images touched me so much that I found one of the very few images of my grandmother. It is a Kodachrome from 1945, my father with his bad eyesight focused it. She never spoke English so it was always Norwegian when I lived with her during WWII, I can't remember a word. Cherish your Grandmother.

very nice series. I regret not taking enough photos of my grandma when she was still around. Sometimes photographs is the only source that brings memories back.

great series - its great to see that rff present went to such a talented hands. 🙂
speaking of rff presents - if you guys sometimes again decide to collect money for camera and to give it to someone i would like to suggest one of our members - manfromh - i came in contact with him because he wants to travel to serbia and he asked where he can develop film here cheaply so i went to see his posts and his website http://mlans.pri.ee and - all great shots. also he is 19 years old and shoots only fsu gear. i think that it would be very nice thing that such a young and talented person get some fine camera and not to always worry if curtains will jam and if camera is leaking light (and i saw in posts that he had problems with much of his fsu).

Some I like, others less so. But I love the first one.

More importantly, you spent time with your grandma and it seems both of you had a great time. 🙂

And you've given me an idea for a new project.

nzeeman, count me in on manfromh, he has a good eye and at 19 he will have a wonderful life in photography. I think he is shooting a Minolta Hi-Matic or something close to that. It would be nice to see him with a removable lens camera.

great photos,
big talent, I agree 😱

Excellent series of photographs. You have a remarkable talent for portraiture. I especially like the seventh photo, it reminds me of work I've seen portraying Native Americans photographed in the mid twentieth century.
