Great Article about Doug Mills

Thanks for that link.

In the 80's and early 90's I had the pleasure of seeing Doug work the Reagan and Bush years in D.C., and later worked with him at the Associated Press office in Washington.

He is a first-class gentleman, an outstanding photographer, (and a bit of a prankster once he knows you. NEVER get into a flying rubber band fight with him... I still have welts). He is always smiling and happy to see people.

His ability to see through “the mental and visual clutter” and deliver a clean, straight-forward news-worthy image... consistently day after day, is truly remarkable. I can remember looking through his film during editing... nearly perfect exposures and focus, and 90% keepers. He works incredibly hard, and is so naturally talented.
